What is Skip Tracing?

It is the process of locating a delinquent customer or debtor who is in hiding and does not wish to be found. Skip tracing, usually referred to as; skip tracing, or debtor and fugitive recovery. Is the process of locating a person's whereabouts for any number of purposes.

Lolwe Auctioneer(s) are therefore referred to as;Skiptracer(s) - someone who performs the task of locating a delinquent customer or debtor who doesn’t wish to be found. The term "skip" refers to the person being searched for, and is derived from the idiomatic expression "to skip town", meaning to depart, perhaps in a rush, leaving minimal clues behind to "trace" the "skip" to a new destination. It is basically an investigative technique that traces or finds skips or people who have skipped out on their financial or legal obligations.Skip tracing is also sometimes called debtor or fugitive recovery. Skip tracing can help you get owed money back or can help ensure that a dangerous criminal finds his or her way back to court.

Why you need to hire Lolwe Auctioneers as your skip tracers?

Hiring Lolwe Auctioneers who are professionals for a skip trace is far more effective, since our staff will work until he or she finds the person you're seeking. Plus, a professional skip tracer can use techniques that are not available to law enforcement agencies. For instance, our staff are not restricted by just cause regulations or search warrants. We can simply find and recover the person in question using our techniques. While many people assume that law-enforcement agencies take care of finding fugitives and other such problems, the truth is that most agencies are overwhelmed with work. If you want a debtor or a criminal found, you may have to do so youself or seek for our services.

At Lolwe Auctioneers, we use Skip tracing tactics while carrying out the services of; Debt collection, repossession, private investigations, or to locate a subject whose contact information is not immediately known. We start by collecting as much information as possible about the subject. The information is then analyzed, reduced, and verified. Sometimes the subject's current whereabouts are in the data, but are obfuscated by the sheer amount of information or disinformation. Often, the job becomes more than mere research since one must often employ methods of social engineering, which involves calling or visiting former neighbors, employers or other known contacts to ask about the subject, sometimes under false or misleading pretenses.

Records that our "skiptracers" use include amongst others; phone number databases, credit reports (including information provided on a loan application, credit card application, and in other debt collector databases), job application information, utility bills - electricity, water, phone, and Internet. While some of these records may be publicly available, some cannot be accessed without an appropriate search warrant, which is generally only available to the Police.

Even when no specific information is returned, public and private databases exist that cross-reference skip tracing information with others the "skip" may have lived with in the recent past.

What is involved in the skip trace?

Depending on the situation, skip trace can involve the following amongst others:

1. Surveillance- Skip tracers may observe certain homes where the person being sought has been known to live.

2.Background checks-Skip tracers and private investigators wishing to locate a debtor will often run background checks in order to figure out a targets past habits. In many cases, this can lead investigators right to their target.

3.Interviews and questioning-Professional investigators will often speak with those who know a target well. They may try to convince a debtors family that the debtor should call in, or they may try to get acquaintances to simply slip up and reveal a targets whereabouts.

4.Impersonations and traditional investigative work-A skip tracer may pose as a Courior delivery person or someone else in order to get close to a target. They may also spend hours researching in order to find where someone is most likely to be hiding.

5.Informants- Many private investigation professionals have a network of informers who work for them. These informants will often find out information quickly by talking to their own contacts.
